Our Care Experienced service supports and provides assessment and intervention for children and young people who are in care, care leavers, adopted and/or under Special Guardianship Orders who are affected by developmental trauma and attachment difficulties. We also offer support to unaccompanied asylum seeking children (UASC) in the above mentioned categories, and support and monitor funding agreements for children and young people in care who are placed outside of Surrey so they can access local services.

Our services span three key areas:

Care Leavers

The service works with Surrey young people aged 16-25 years who are leaving care and who have a registered GP in Surrey.

Children in Care

This service works with children in care, adopted children and children under special guardianship. We support children and young people up to 18 years, living in Surrey and 20 miles beyond the Surrey border.

Post-order Support

We provide a dedicated service to children and young people aged 0 - 18 years who are subject to either an adoption or Special Guardianship Order, as well as their adoptive parent(s) / special guardians and any professionals who are involved.
