The Assertive Engagement Pathway is made up of 3 specialities and these focus on the different areas of support needed. Each of these pathways are staffed with a Clinical Lead and a team of Mental Health Practitioners. They are able to provide mental health advice, assessments and support with 6-8 goal focused sessions. 

Youth

This pathway is for young people aged 16-25, who are not in education, employment or training, are homeless/at risk of being and
have substance misuse issues. You are able to self-refer yourself for support or someone can refer you, but you must provide consent to do so. The team will be able to provide you with mental health support, with 6-8 goal focused sessions.

Youth Justice

This pathway is for young people aged 10- 18, with offending behaviour. In order to access this pathway a referral needs to be completed by Surrey County Councils Youth Justice Service. The team will be able to provide the young person with mental health support, with 6-8 goal focused sessions.

Education

This pathway is for young people aged 8-16, who are currently not attending school. The team will be able to provide the young person with mental health support, with 6-8 goal focused sessions.  In order to access this pathway a referral needs to be completed by Surrey County Council's Education Area Case Review and Action Group.
