Family Voice
Family Voice plays a crucial role in representing and advocating for the needs of children, young people and families through consultations, meetings, peer groups and one-to-one listening services.
- These forums provide an essential space for families to be heard
- Families enjoy connecting with others through activity days and celebration events as part of the term time and school holiday offer
- Learning Space shall be further developing its parent voice as part of the new Mindworks Surrey service, giving parents and carers the space to design, deliver, lead and support

Youth Voice
Youth Voice provides opportunities for children and young people to feel and be heard. The aim is to ensure every child and young person can access a service to support their emotional wellbeing and mental health. Any young person accessing Learning Space services can apply to join the Youth Voice governance group.
Learning Space is working with National Youth Agency and plans to develop training for Youth Voice members and register to work with the Hear by Right strategy for participation.
Youth Voice have fundraised over the last five years to plan and run a range of activities and projects to bring together children, young people and families to learn new skills, make friendships, challenge themselves, be creative and have fun!
This group also helps deliver service improvements as well as develop and shape new models of support.
